FEBRUARY 1

  • Starting position: utilizing space help make the best possible decision. At the higher levels, where talent and skill are comparable, utilizing space on the field can help tip the scales in your favor.

FEBRUARY 8

  • Def MF movements: Working on closing down properly to limit options going forward. Anticipation, interceptions, and overloading the field are all parts of the modern game, and that will be the empahasis for these sessions.

FEBRUARY 15

  • Finishing combinations: Decision making and poise are critical in finishing, especially at the top of the box. Staying disciplined in these moments requires commitment to proper movements and exceptional first touch.

FEBRUARY 22

  • 1v1 defending: The best players are often the best defenders. The best players love to be without the ball. At the end of the day, these sessions are all about mindset.
